  1. Yup, it doesn't say that at all. Rowling did indeed like the other posts say announce it after the last book and also crossed a Dumbledore line mentioning a past female love off the movie script.

You just know because he and Grindelwald (however you spell his name) had deep friendship and Grindelwald was able to enchant him and they had a very intense summer together. Also, Dumbledore never expresses interest in females. Almost every man I know expresses interest in a female at some point. I'm sure that if Dumbledore was that powerful, there would have been witches all over him if he was straight. And he's just too nice to be straight.

I was really happy to find out he was g*y. In hindsight, it seems to make perfect sense.

  2. It doesn't JK Rowling stated that fact in an interview.

  3. It doesn't. JK Rowling said that after the producers of the 6th movie wanted to put a line in the movie where Dumbledore talks about a girl he had a crush on when he was younger.

  4. the books dont mention dumbledores sexual orientation. jk rowling announced it at a book signing in new york.

  5. It doesn't say in the books themselves, at least not specifically. Reading between the lines and looking at subtext it is possible to read him that way. JK Rowling actually stated that he was g*y after the last book came out, but it's not stated in the books themselves.

  6. It was never mentioned in the books. Jo just said that she always pictured Dumbledore as being g*y.

  7. it doesn't.

    DOES IT?!? XO

  8. It didnt! Its was an apfter thought by Rowling and has no bearing on the plot! I personally dont see Dumbledore as having a sexuality. He was just Dumbledore...

But it really doesnt matter...because if it was important then Rowling should have included it in the plot!
