  2. yes the company is out of naigara falls it is natiobal mohawk which is national grid

A very wide range of resources.  In Southwestern Michigan two Nuke plants power a good deal of the region.  The center of the state is tied to dams and coal burning power plants and the entire east side of the state is a wide mix -- from wind power, to old oil burning plants even!  Most of the states power though comes from natural gas  the UP is split on that and coal.
