Where does oil from your hair come from when you need to wash it?

i have to wash my hair every 3-4 days its soo annoying it gets so oily i wish it would last for longer... where does it come from?

3-4 days? that's your problem

our skin in our scalp produces natural oils like on our face,it gets oily...its a protective barrier from dust etc...

if you tend to go nuts over your oily hair,put some baby powder on ur hair and massage evenly...

do not put baby powder directly on scalp...apply it on the stands of your hair...

i got that idea from cosmopolitan philippines...

wow! i have to wash my every day...sometimes i can skip a day but its rare!

You have pores on your scalp the same way you do everywhere else on your body.  Would you go 3-4 days not washing your face?  Of course not.  I would wash your hair every other day and you shouldn't have this problem.
