Where does our perception of beauty come from?

I was watching this documentary 34x25x36 about mannequin beauty

and the first line was, "women hate when I say this; there are no perfect bodies out there, we make the perfect bodies"

It got me thinking. If they are making bodies that do not really exist, why do we perceive them as beautiful? I would think that we would naturally see a woman's natural figure as beautiful. So, why enhance it?

  1. comes from time, like 2008 right now, back in 1800, you might find them not beautiful.

    come from our eyes, how WE see it and how others influence us to see it

  3. we seek symmetry, it is never perfect in nature.

  4. Every one has a different flavor of beauty from others . Some are close to the same as others . How we get this slant or flavor of beauty ? It come from our environment . Starting at an early age .

    All art consists of two things Elements and principles.

    Elements

    color, value, line, shape, form, texture and space

    Principles

    balance, contrast, proportion, pattern, rhythm, unity, and variety.

    Beauty is the combination of the these that one finds pleasing to the senses.

    you love her, not because she is beautiful

    she is beautiful because you love her

    so love every living thing. world would be a beautiful place to live in. i am following this
