  1. The Queen have a number of official royal residences around the UK. After the Coronation, The Queen and Prince Philip moved to Buckingham Palace, in central London, the main official residence of the monarch. It has been reported, however, that, as with many of her predecessors, she dislikes the Palace as a residence and considers Windsor Castle, another official residence, to be her home. However, Buckingham Palace remains the main "official" royal residence of the Queen, and where she works on a daily basis.
