in my 22 years on this earth i've noticed in this country and a few others that americans are blindly devoted to there government allowing them to rule over there lives unjustly (in some cases) ex-wire tapping things like that

anyway another thing why is it that when the enforcers of law in whatever country is constantly praised even for there wrong doings

and whoever they arrest is antagonized

just because the police wear badges dont always mean they are arresting criminals get it?

everyone behind bars is deemed a miscriant a low life or something to that affect but what about guys who were arrested while fighting for there freedom

isnt that what this country is suppose to be all about?

america supports unjust methods of making arrests such as racial profiling and police provoking there potential arrest just to get a bigger collar

people willing to go to war and fight other countries with no cause example-iraq

simply because the government says it will make you a good person

why dont more people think outside the box and create there own opinion whats good and what isnt

  1. Support the best, be the best.

  2. My semi-educated guess would be that nationalism as a strong concept, versus fiefdoms, slavery etc was:  after the French Revolution.  This country really embraced their country and all it entails, identifying themselves with it strongly.

  3. we need something to have faith in. Someone who wears a badge has been accepted as a trustworthy, good, and just. I think more and more people have been coming to reality (finally after electing George W. Bush TWICE) and finding that the government doesn't always follow the rules or can use there power for things that are not right (oil wars, invading privacy, taking away free speech). Now its what we are going to do about it.  As for the racial profiling thing its as old as life itself, by taking down someone different we make our own bonds closer.

As for the troops thing. Recruiters are now going to the poorest towns looking for the most desperite young men and women to come fight and many accept because its almost the only way to make a living now the economy is going to h**l.
