ALSA (spanish bus company) offers a direct bus line from Alicante Airport to Benidorm. The bus goes to Benidorm Bus station at Avenida Europa 8.

I've used it a few times. I have got off at the Dove Park  -also the bus then turns left and stops once or twice up the hill towards the station. It carries on until it gets to the terminus by the Marina hotel(I think -it looks black) it's 2 streets behind Levante beach. You can also get a taxi to the train station in Alicante and then the train to Benidorm -both ways are MUCH cheaper than a taxi
