Where does the energy that is produced at a coal-fired power plant originally come from?

  1. Some from the sun, some from the pressure of gravity, and some from the heat of radioactive decay of uranium and thorium in the eaths core.

    Took it one step back to the creation of the universe.

Oil, coal, and natural gas are fossil fuels.  Meaning they came before the dinosaurs.  The plants processed the sunlight into energy (photosynthesis).  The plants died and were compressed for millions of years.  This is one evidence of the supreme intelligence and might of the One who deserves to be worshiped alone.  The sun is not enough alone to give you energy.  Its a sign for us to worship the Creator and not the creation.
