  1. I was just in Cozumel last week.  They have one pier at the internation peir open.  This is 3.5 miles from town.  They had one pier downtown that was open.  There were two ships there that day, and we both ported.  If their were more than that, then the overflow would have to tender, but I have been told that the tender drops you off downtown.

I did see the Freedom of the Seas at Grand Cayman.  It is a beautiful ship.  You could easily get lost on it.  A friend of mine said it was the nicest ship he has been on, and he has over 30 cruises behind him.

  2. If I am not mistaken they are anchoring out and tendering in right now.  One of my friends just got back and they tendered.  But she said that the new dock will be complete in a couple of weeks.  I have docked there before, and you dock just a little South of Town.  I walked it and it took about ten minutes.  I am jealous!  I wanted to go on the Freedom, but we opted for a local cruise this time.  Maybe next year...  (I live in Houston so we are going out of Galveston)  Good Luck!

  3. Try this link.  Today's docking of the Freedom was at the International Pier, which is about a mile or so south of San Miguel. Happy cruising!
