Where does the last name Oschelle come from?

I was just curios because this guy i met's last name is Oschelle. (Pronunced Oh-Shell) I see him some times but it would seem awkward to ask him his ethnicity when i barely know him so uh ya just wondering. Any guess will help me to! He has a tan, with silverish brown or silverish dirty blonde hair, khaki eyes, and medium set cheekbones.
