Light is absorbed and turned into thermal energy nearly every time it hits something. When the light bulb turns off the last bits of light bounce around until it is finally all turned into thermal energy... If I answered your question then this should have probably been posted in the physics section.

it is powered by electricity, once u turn that off it qtops running and is saved 4 later.
