  1. I doubt that it has a real origin.

Some pervert probably just came up with it some day when his mom was making a cake and she said "It's not moist enough yet"

    Or something.

    Hahah.

  2. check this out its from newsvine.com:

While we may never know the exact origin of the phrase, one of the earliest, if not first, occurrences of "That's what she said" in popular culture can be traced back to 1992 in the SNL sketch-turned-film, Wayne's World:

    [Holding Claudia Schiffer picture]

Garth: Hey, are you done yet? I'm getting tired of holding it.

Wayne: Yeah, that's what she said.

  3. From me.

  4. well I know

that when someone says sumin like

    "Harder"

a guy ( most of thee time )

    says "that's what she said"

so ima guessing that some perv who is into dirty jokes went around saying it annoying people till they knocked him out with a hammer or a vase

  5. I dont know where it came form but all the guys at my high school say that and they think it is the funniest thing ever.

  6. umm probably from some horny teenage boys.

  7. It has been around for years.  An old boss of mine used to say "That's what she said at the picnic" back in the early 1980s.

It most definitely does not originate with The Office.

  8. It comes from NBC's "The Office". The boss, played by Steve Carrell, always says  "That's what she said" after things that could be taken as sexual innuendo.
