  1. if its a 90degree angle, it is considered "right." i think its because its the middle of being a line and a ray, and all the trig stuff works with them, and stuff like that. its not like right and left, its like right and wrong. thats my opinion anyways.

    since if one side is horizontal, the other is vertical or upright.
