Where does the sun set right now?

i know that is sets in the west but i also know it doesnt set in the exact west. right now in Michigan where does the sun set compare to west? i have to draw a picture and today it is rainy and the sun is not out! thanks for your help

This is kind of tough to answer as you need to know your latitude and the effect that the earths tilt has in relation to where in the orbit it is.  As the earth travels around the sun, the tilt in the earths axis causes the seasons but also causes the sun to "appear" to move in the horizon.

At that latitude, the Sun is currently setting in the northwest.  Depending on your location in Michigan, it sets now at about 303 degrees azimuth, or about 33 degrees north of due west.
