Where does the surname HEILI originate from?

The nearest I can find is Heilig, pronounced, I think, with a soft 'g', so that it sounds more like Heili. Names have often changed over the years, especially when moving from one country to another where the language is different.

There is an area in Northern France called Heilly (Nr. Merricourt) so that is another possibility.

I had to go back to a marriage in the 1600's to find that I had some French ancestors.
