Raef Bjayou off the Apprentice on TV is half-Portugese half-Lebonese I think, his dad being the Portugeuse half.  However, I think Bjayou is more Arabic in origin.  Portugal was under Muslim control for several centuries until the 1200s, so some Portugese words and names have since been borrowed from the Arabic language.  There's good reason to attach the name to both cultures.

Raef from the apprentice's surname is Bjayou and apparantly his dad is like Portuguese so maybe it's a Portuguese name

It is quite possibly from one of the Scandinavian countries.

e.g. Bjorkan, Bjerkan, Bjorkman, Bjarne, Bjorn, Bjork, Bjame etc.
