Question:

Where does the uterus "start?"?

I know that at 23 weeks, my uterus ends about an inch above my belly button. I can feel it, too.

But how far DOWN does the uterus extend?

I just wonder because at my last ultrasound the baby was head down, yet I felt his kicks like, 2 1/2 inches below my navel, all the way to the side.

Which is where I still normally feel them.

Where does the uterus "start" ?

  1. I'm pretty sure it's right above your pubic bone. That's where they measure from when they measure how much your uterus has grown anyway so I would assume that is where the uterus begins.

  2. You measure it from the top of the uterus to the pubic bone.

  3. the uterus starts where your v****a ends

  4. I had been feeling my baby just underneath my belly button. Well, a few weeks ago she moved positions and dropped down a bit. Left me some lovely stretch marks in the process...

Well now, she has came up higher and I feel her kicks right where my belly is and a little bit above my belly button.

I am 24 weeks. I am starting to feel like I am stretching so I think everything is just beginning to come up. My mom said the baby will come up higher before she goes back down...

Anyways, I thought this question was interesting and just adding my tidbit to it..
