Where does the water came from?

Drinking water comes from lakes and stuff, but is sent to a treatment plant to be cleaned.

From the sea, it has been there from day 1.  (2 molecules hydrogen and 1 molecule oxygen = H2O)

Water from lake/ocean --> evaporate --> Cloud --> precipitate --> rain --> earth (trees, land or back to the ocean and sea) --> evaporate from Water from lake/ocean or respiration from plants --> forms clouds ... cycle repeats
