Question:

Where does this hose go on Honda Rebel?

There is a hose that runs from beneath the engine and over the carb but is not connected to anything, the hose is about 3/8" OD, cut at a slant and does not look like it ever had a hose clamp on it, where is it supposed to go, what does it do? Is it a breahter hose or has something come undone - I noticed it when I was polishing the bike yesterday?

  1. i have a rebel reble and i think that the hose you are talking about is the gas overflow  so if you fill it to much and it is hot out side the gas will expand and will drip put of that hose

    but check with the manual

  2. its just a crank case breather...every bike has them...some go from the engine into the airfilter box, others simply run from the crankcase to under the engine...its simply to let the engine ''breath''

  3. Prolly a fuel tank vent hose.

  4. i found the same thing on my bike.....not a honda rebel though. but yer it was just a breather, so i rekon urs is

  5. Possibly for fuel tank vent.

Go to - your bike - Fuel tank

There are a few more hoses to the air box.

    Go to - Air Cleaner
