The last name Suden, what country is it from? This girl in my class has the last name Suden and I wonder where she comes from. Thanks

Sud (with an umlaut) means south in German, so perhaps the name means southern or something similar.

She could be from Germany, Hungary, or Sweden. I'm not sure what race she is, but if she is white she is most likely from one of these countries. You could always ask her.

It could be a lot of things from middle eastern to eastern european.  My guess is that was shortened generations back.
