Where does this part to my xbox 360 go?

Taking apart a 360 for a few reasons and was wondering where a certain part goes. I don't have a picture of it so i'll have to describe it:

Its a small metal part about two centimeters (about an inch) long and only a few millimeters thick. It sort of looks like a small cheese grader and i'm pretty sure it goes to the disk drive somewhere. I know i've seen it before and it was easy to reattach but can't for the life of me remember. I think there are actually two of them in the system.

Well, the 360 has 3 different chipsets out right now so it will be hard to tell.
