Where does water from my kitchen sink come from?

If you can, is there a route/passageway you can draw for me from the tap water of your house going underground to wherever? Like, with the tubes in your sink traveling all the way somewhere getting water and yeah, all the stuff underground.

  1. Well, hopefully your water doesn't come from the Ohio River. That's where I get my water. Trust me, even after filtering through the water plant, it still tastes kind of weird. It's obviously toxic. Why else would they tell us "If you go fishing in the Ohio, whatever you do, DON'T EAT THE FISH!!!"

  2. all pipes are connected  to a central water treatment plant and from these tubes everyone gets water and once in your house the plumber connects water lines to every source that requires water--sink, toilet, shower, washing room, ice-maker, etc.

  3. Hey! It's one thing to ask for help.. it's quite another to ask people to do your homework assignment for you!

Why not try it yourself first, post it somewhere and ask folk for help on what you have done.  That way you will learn a lot more!
