where does the inspiration for the covers of the twilight saga come from. ive always felt that they where really random ideas, pale hands holding a crimson apple...a ripped ribbon, a white flower dipped in a red liquid ((possibly blood)) and a pair of checker pieces, one red and one white...what do they represent, and why always red and white?

please help me out...

  1. red (or blood) showing its contrast of everything else? Just my thoughts (kinda like all of shindlers list in black and white until the little girl in the red dress

  2. im not a hundred percent sure myself but stephenie meyer did say that some group of people give her ideas of covers and when they chose breaking dawn's cover stephenie said it was perfect and the red pawn also had to be in it

all of the covers are red white black so they kinda coordinate with one another

some people have ideas but they're not a hundred percent sure neither

i think only stephenie meyer would know the answer to this question

  3. i think that its all red white and black because the vampires skin is white, they drink blood:red and black because its a good color that goes with red and white =D

  4. u misspelled does.......

  5. i dont know im not smart

  6. The covers follow a weird pattern of red, white, and a black background to show that the story is erie. Isn't the series include a vampire? The vampire's pale skin is the white and the red is the blood.
