  3. Dorset is a great place for learners, Sandbanks does windsurfing classes which is great as no matter how far in you go the water level stays the same. Normal surfing is taught on the beach nearby.

  5. Try Gwithian. Godgrevy or Sennen Cove, down near Lands End - also on the North Coast of Cornwall.

  7. Newquay is only popular because that's where all the surfers go. But any west/s. west coastline that has the Atlantic swells coming in would be suitable.
