some people say europe has undergone a monsoon; others say there has been an unusually heavy band of clouds above britain.

sometimes i have looked up at the sky and seen it was bright blue, not a cloud to be seen - yet still the rain was spiking down. often this summer it has rained for several days on end, torrentially.

where in God's name has it all come from?

  1. it comes from the sky because of temperature

  2. The Atlantic fronts normally are directed up to just missing the north west of the UK. Think of 1 o' clock on a clock face. This year they have come in at a different angle and hit the UK full on, think 3 o' clock on a clock face. That is why.

  6. Well, you get evaporation from the sea ...... well short story, the rain clouds

  7. In my part of the UK from the sky! Seriously though I have this theory that with increased surface temperature over the Atlantic increased evaporation and stronger winds have led to more precipitation over Western Europe. After all the increased trapped energy has got to go somewhere.

  8. The sky

  9. I live in ireland, in my small village of dublin the elders tell of a time when a big yellow ball lit the sky and brought happiness across the land they say in the long long ago that for a period in the middle of the year the rain would go and children would play in the streets.

I do not believe these myths but sometimes at night i cant help but dream.
