Question:

Where have all the racist bigots on here this week come from?

This is meant to be about rugby.

Pretty much every question on here has an English person slagging off the Scottish.

Northern Irish having a go at the Irish.

Welsh moaning about the English.

Can we not leave all that nonsense to the footballers.

  1. Well...

The scots do a good job of slagging england off too...

  2. I think you're mistaking good ol'fashioned rugby banter with something altogether different.

I'm Welsh, but live and play etc in England and have no problem with the English per se.

However, I despise the English rugby team. And I have every right to, thank you very much!

  3. Where does national pride end and racism begin?

If someone asks an inflammatoty question - there WILL be angry responses!

  4. They've all got a lot to moan about

  5. It wouldn't be fun without the racism.

  6. As an Irishman I'm too miserable to slag anyone else off at the moment. As regards the Irish North v South thing. Remember abusing each other on forums etc. is actually an improvement on our recent behaviour. .

  7. I think there is a new breed coming through who don't know what cheeky banter is...or who think that being a sociopathic shitbag = banter..

Some of the stuff is quite disturbing..

You don't meet too many of these people at rugby matches though...but who knows..with the older happier tongue in cheek generation  dying off...the sociopaths could make things quite unpleasant for everyone in a few years...

  8. It's not just the questions...........some have answered questions that has feck all to do with the question, but to spew hatred towards each other................my only gripe is the media at the moment, not the people from other nations!

  9. I dunno I've just got up

  10. We English have to put up with racism from all sides when it comes to sports.

Especially from Celts who cant seem to tell the difference between sport, history and politics

  11. Well if I see comments (particularly from the English, funnily enough) that try to downplay any good performance by Wales, I will respond with vigour!

A lot of the England supporters seem to be 'Sunday supporters' who only come out of the woodwork when teams apart from England are doing well, or when they can be bothered to drag themselves away from their premiership football on Setanta.

The arrogance of some of these so called England fans is astounding - they will not admit their team's shortfalls, even when they are staring them in the face. Cannot accept criticism, just deal it out.

Apologies to the real England rugby supporters, this does not apply to you people at all.

  12. sorry to haer that as i love you scots i love to go top scotland for holidays went to the isle of bute butifil regards

  13. While banter is all good and such, some of this is getting a little childish.

We all have teams that we prefer over others. We all have our favorites that we want to win even if it is apparent that it will not happen.

We are not soccer fans here, there is no need for a verbal "riot". :)

Everyones team is good because it is there team, same as why we dislike the other teams, they are not ours. Its a viscious cycle.

  14. yes you have a point, dont mind banter at all but some ppl on here have a real problems.
