Where have you had the best burger in the UK?

The Ha Ha Bar in Guildford used to serve up a decent burger and there's an Irish pub on the Kings Road that does a great chilli burger.

  1. Im a chef and im not joking about this. Look in tescos freezer isle and check out the Irish beef burgers they do. They work out about 10p each and are fab on the barbie.

  8. Hache in Camden is a great burger bar. Not the cheapest but definitely worth the money.

  9. Gourmet Burger Kitchen,(GBK) is fantastic! They have branches in London. I go to the one in Frith st,in Soho. The burgers are huge and there is a huge choice of meats and fillings. Its not really a cheap eat but u get value for money!!! Try them!

  12. It has to be "Buddies" in Northampton. They do 40-50 different ones and they are huge! - especially if you have "wet" chips with them - again about 10-15 different toppings for your chips. All this and only 1 hour from Central London.

  15. The best burger I've ever tasted was at the Hilton hotel next to Manchester airport. If you ever fly from Manchester and decide to stay at the hotel, try the burgers.

    Another good one, but miles away from you, is a little greasy cafe called Chubby's in Sheffield. They do ace burgers as well, but I do admit that they taste better after a few pints.

  22. well it was cold and rainy and i bought a cheap burger and chips from the chippy and it was great

  23. try GBK the gourmet burger kitchen, I didnt realise that theres so many types of burger, but there are!! i had a thai burger which was beef with curry and pineapple......bit pricey but id recommend it! i went to the one in lakeside but they are all over as far as i can work out!!

  26. The best chain burger I've had came from "Wendy's", but you don't get them any more.

    Best independant is the "City Takeaway" in Newcastle (opposite the Police Station), Half-pounder with cheese, mayo and chilli sauce - fantastic!
