I'm looking for the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant specifically, and I want to seek out a certain cover that is no longer used, as well as a hardcover version of this artwork. But I have no idea what website might serve me well. Any suggstions?

  1. Try either Ebay or Abebooks.com

I think Abebooks generally has really high prices, but it's the only other site I can think of.

  2. I would start with Amazon.com, especially if you have the ISBN and publishing info on it (if there are many different editions and/or printings). Amazon has a lot sellers that offer out of print and rare books. If there's no picture with the listing or the description isn't good, you can always contact the seller to see if it meets your needs.

eBay is another option, as is half.com, alibris, Abe and more (maybe even bookfinder.com). On eBay, you can also post something under Want It Now so sellers will see what you're looking for. I don't know how effective this is, but it's somewhere to go.

  3. I'm not sure exactly which of the Thomas Covenant books you are looking for, but there are several titles and apparently several different editions listed at the sites below. Maybe the one you are looking for is at one of these sites.

If you go to the book title info on the Fantastic Fiction page, there is usually a published version listing at the end of the page, and they often show availability of a specific edition there as well.

    I hope this information helps.

  4. Ebay, private bookstores, online antique book sellers, estate sales...

    Good luck!
