It really depends what you need them for... I always marvel at how lightheartedly people think any image on the web is there for others to steal!

has many good, free, legally usable photos (you will need to register to download the full size images though).

Check each photo's guidelines (some photographers ask for credit, some that you apply for permission, some simply share their best pics for the fun of it!)
