If u want chinese laksa...gurney stall ... near gurney plaza(stall no i dont remember but its normally opposite the ayam goreng famous there)....

Malay - laksa air itam (at gurney also)...Laksa janggus(balik pulau)...

i think the best i eat is in Balik pulau laksa & Penang road laksa which just beside the Penang Chendol coffee shop

Try the one at Dato Keramat road, near the a Shell petrol station. Nearby is a church.

i think laksa utara can be seen all around penang.. laksa penang and laksa utara is the best...
