  1. I LOVE Father's Day.  My father really enjoyed his self when I took him to the "Martini at the IMAX" on Friday before Father's day Sunday. Live JAZZ concert, Diner and a movie.

Another good place is Chequers Restaurant and Bar near Perimeter Mall.  Really nice on a Sunny afternoon lunch and they also have a BOMB happy hour on Fridays....   Use to be for $20-$25 you could get a whole lobster, martini and a appetizer as long as you ate at the bar or outside patio.

Those were to things to do on Friday or Saturday.  Here is something for Sunday.

Brunch at the Waverly Hotel at the Galleria in Cobb Co.  About $45 each and worth every penny.  Again live band and wonderful food.

You could make it a Fathers day Weekend too.  Do them all.  That's what I've done in the past..... can you tell?.....I'm a Daddy's Girl!

    Have FUN! Hope this helps.

  2. I like "Maggiano's" on Peachtree. They have good Italian food and are not too too high. They have valet parking and good waiters. And, the best cheesecakes!

  3. murphy's in virginia highlands great breakfast

  4. PUB 71

  5. Blue Point-in Buckhead. They have sushi, seafood, steaks. The food is delicious and the service is great. Kinda expensive though.

The Flying Biscuit is great for breakfast. They have locations in Midtown, Buckhead, and West Paces Ferry Road.

The Vortex is a fabulous burger place in Midtown. They have a ton of burgers and beers. Its cheap too!!!!

  6. How old/young is your dad!

I would love to take my dad to dave & busters!

My dad is a little older but likes to act funny and play around so i think it is somwhere he would have fun at! So see if you have one and take him there! It would be fun and a great opportunity to take fun pics!

  7. Max's downtown is a yummy laid back kind of place with great food

Ditto on The Flying Biscuit (one of my personal faves) for breakfast and lunch (LOVE the friend green tomatoes!)

  8. It all depends on the type of food and price range you’re looking for.

  9. Check out Manuel's Tavern ( manuelstavern.com ) near Little Five Points...on the corner of North Ave. and Highland. They serve an incredible breakfast.  My daughter recently moved near there, and we have been to Manuel's several times to eat...we even took my wife there for Mother's Day and she loved it!

Then, check out The Plaza Theater ( plazaatlanta.com ) which is a very old theater...it's a blast to go to and within walking distance from Manuel's.  Join their mailing list for upcoming information.
