skull of a bunyip? My pet kangaroo Edward and I wanted to see it, but found out that we missed the exhibition in Australian Museum (Sydney). Are there any other places which exhibit them?

  1. Try Uralla. There are madsnake folks down there

  2. If you head over to the Melbourne Museum (in Carlton), you'll see one.  The Diprotodon (it is suspected) may be the animal that the mythical Bunyip legend is based on.

But if that doesn't take your fancy, why not head over to the Den of Nargun.  According to local Kooris, the Nargun still lives in her rock cave.  And if you camp there overnight, maybe you'll hear her calls.  Although I wouldn't take Edward.  She's liable to chomp on him... and probably you too.  LOL

  3. Yes, you can go into the bush and find a real Bunyip skull. But, don't take edward, the bunyips may still be around and the Kangawallafoxes hate both Bunyips, and Kangaroos. If they see each other, blood will be spilt for sure.

  4. Yes, I thought bunyips and kangaroos were natural enemies too.  I'm guessing Edward just wants to laugh at a dead one?  You'll usually find the skulls littered around the edges of outback billabongs.  If you do take Edward along, don't forget to take a pressure hose to separate them, just in case there's still some live bunyips there.

  5. Yes buddy, as a matter of fact I have one sitting out on my veranda.

  6. very funny

    bunyips are mythical creatures

  7. Gee, you and Edward must be ancient, that skull was on exhibition in 1847, but hasn't been seen since.  You sure Edward didn't pinch it when he was on the Bundy.
