  1. Brighton would be one place you could. A mixture of different people living together - it's popular with musicians and art/performing arts people. Obviously there is the g*y community there, although I think there are misconceptions about how much it influences the area.

Like Camden, if you're looking for somewhere where slack-jawed idiots don't stand around gawping at your style all day then it's a good place (although avoid the **** pubs and clubs purely catering for d*ckhead stag parties).

  2. i would say gloucesteshire, stroud and nailsworth in particular. there are eco communitys and the local towns all sell organic foods plus there are MANY alternative shops

  3. Camden, Kentish town, Hackney, Brighton

  4. brighton or camden x

  5. Brighton, yeah definitely Brighton.

  6. Brighton - and Im going down this weekend! YAY!

  7. Hull!

  8. Brighton has a bohemian, continetal lifestyle, very laid back with lots off on street cafes and great street life.

  9. Bath or Bristol. Camden is exhausting. It's fun to visit, but living in London generally is aging in my opinion.

  10. In Camden Town, London!

  11. The Orkney Islands.  The police there won't pick you up for begging without a license, and not many yobs around to pick a fight.

But since this is under food, you can also get a nice sausage roll over there for a good price.

  12. Totnes, Devon
