-I'm Female

-I'm in my early 20's (so i'm looking for a city with plenty of 20 somethings)

-DJ at bars and weddings etc. for a living (so it has to be a place with a ton of hip bars/clubs 45 minutes away at most)

-I'm used to NY humidity, so I'd really like to live somewhere with nice dry heat preferably)

-Mostly I just want to live in a beautiful city that is not LA or San Fran or San Diego. Those places are a tad too expensive. For rent, I'm willing to pay like 800 (including utilities) at most. (which i assume can get me a studio or 1 bedroom)

Any place stand out in your mind? Or should I reconsider LA or San Fran?

  1. Anyplace East of the "fault line," would do just fine. <}:-})

  2. Unless your move is job or family related, DON'T move to California !!!  YOU'LL HATE IT!   There's WAY-Y-Y-Y-Y too many people, crime, and earthquakes !!!!!!!!!!   I always THOUGHT I wanted to live in California. . . .and when I finally DID. . . .all I wanted to do was move back OUT !!!!!!!!!!!   It's horrible !!!!   And the insurance rates are almost criminal.

The very FIRST bumper sticker I saw on a car read:     WELCOME TO CALIFORNIA. . . . . .NOW GO HOME !!!!!!!!!!   And that was the attitude of the people there the ENTIRE TIME I LIVED THERE !!!!!

  3. SANTA CRUZ!!!

  4. Look at Sacramento or even Redding its a large enough city that the smaller cities around it could use your services too. Avoid SF and LA they are ugly cities overcrowded, dirty, and very s****. to outsiders.

  5. Orange County
