  1. Having lived there I would avoid Gloucester completely as it is very rough and a dump. Did you know it contains the most burgled street in the country. the best area if you must go there is Churchdown, but watch out for floods. Cheltenham is much nicer, but expensive.

  2. Are you looking for someplacer rural, or a tow or city. For a good compomise, I would recomend Bishops cleeve, as it is not too big a town, but it has local shops, a library, hairdressers, etc. It is not too far from Cheltenham, and alot of it is high up so, if there are more floods, you wont be as effected. Part of it is on a beautiful hill called cleeve hill, great for walking and sledging in the winter. However, I don't know anything about house prices there. I know that the cotwolds is one of the most expensive places to live in britain, but for good reason, as it is really beautiful.

I have lived in the Cheltenham and Glouster area for most of my life and I love it. Most of the time I lived in the small town of winchcombe, which I would whole heartedly reccomend if it weren't for the high house prices and the fact that it was hard hit by the floods.

  3. my stepson lives near there in prestbury.by the way they ran out of water during floods ,i would say NEVER go there to live!

  4. As high up as possible if this years floods are anything to go by!
