Where in Dallas, TX can I donate books? also toys/dolls, furniture, and clothes?

I live in Dallas, TX. I have soooooo many things I don't need anymore. I need to know here to donate boks. Also toys/dolls, furniture(or where can I sell my furniture), and clothes. The ones that I really need to know are books, and where to sell or donate, preferibly sell, my furniture. Pkease and Thank You... :)

  1. you can call the leukemia society and they will come and pick the stuff up, out in Rockwall call helping hands and they will come out and pick up the stuff


  2. Try the Salvation Army, Goodwill Stores and your local library (for books).  If they're age appropriate, the local schools sometimes will accept them for their library, or sell them during their book sales.

    There is always freecycle.  Go to yahoo groups and search "freecycle".  You usually join by your zip code.  It's great.  You list what you have to give away, and others come and pick it up.

  3. Books Half Price Books will take them and give you cash

    Clothes go to consignment stores ~ there is a place on Preston/Royal called Clotheshorse

    Furniture consignment stores I think there is a place on Midway/Beltline

    Also, you can donate for tax to

    Frisco Family

    South Buckner there is a children's home that always needs stuff

    Goodwill

    Churches sometimes takes stuff but I wouldn't go to the real fancy ones

    Sell your stuff on craigslist.com
