Lox is cold, smoked salmon. It's really good, but the only local place I know to get any is to go to Einstein Brothers. I'd like to know where in a store I can get lox in Denver.

  1. Mmm, lox!  Yum. :-)

    These days, a number of supermarkets carry lox in their deli section.  You might want to ask wherever you usually shop.  But if you want a place where it is more of a specialty, go to either the East Side Kosher Deli or the the Bagel Deli.

    East Side Kosher Deli Kosher Deli

    499 S. Elm St

    Denver, CO 80246;

    Phone: (303) 322-9862

    The Bagel Deli

    6439 East Hampden Avenue

    Denver, CO  80222

    Phone: (303) 756-6667

    The Bagel Deli is open every day.  The East Side Kosher Deli is open 9 to 9 Sunday through Thursday, 9 to 1 on Friday, and it is closed on Saturday.

    I hope this helps!!  And can I come for breakfast?  :-)

  2. I second the Bagel Deli, that's where I go when I need a touch of NY/Jewish soul food.  Zaidy's has two locations one downtown and one in Cherry Creek and I know the Cherry Creek one sells appetizing, great for Sunday breakfast too.  Whole Foods probably also has a good selection.
