How far East?  You can use the George Orwell Sports Centre in Wapping.  It's 5 mins walf from St. Katherine's Dock.

Call the local council.

There used to be some at Stepney Green (LB Tower Hamlets) but I an not sure about now.

Try Newham town hall, also I seem to recall some near the cinema and bowling alley in Beckton.

LBs Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney - also Barking and Dagenham, Waltham Forest, Redbridge if you are farther out West Ham (& Stratford) are part of Newham
