  1. im am looking into that.  i am moving from austin to houston.  i donate in austin and get paid 50 dollars for 2 visits a week.  Also, for the junkie comment..that was way out of line and completely untrue!!!  They wont even accept people who are in the health condition of a junkie.  Lots of professionals, students, stay at home moms and normal people donate on a regular bases.  Dont be so quick to pop off at the mouth about things you know nothing about!!!  If I find a center I will let you know.

Ok I found where to donate in houston.  If you look it up in the yellow pages online the company is called American Plasma.

  2. Don't sink that low. My mother-in-law worked in one of those places and it's all junkies. (hope you're not one) Get a part time job if you need the $$$ so bad...

  3. I did this a couple of times back in college 20 years ago. The going rate then was $15.

I found this with a Goodsearch:

"Although payment for blood donation is no longer given in the United States, it is common in other parts of the world. Also, centers that collect plasma — the cell-free fluid that makes up most of the volume of the blood — often pay people for the material. Typically they receive less than $10 a pint, although payment varies widely."

Look in the yellow pages for Plasma Collection Center or try this:

By the way, I've never been a junkie. I just needed money for school.
