Where in Houston, Texas, is there a nice shady running trail near the northwest area?

Besides Memorial Park, does anyone know of a nice, mostly shady running park or trail near the Cypress (Cy-Fair.....near Jersey Village or 290/Jones or Beltway 8/West Road) in Houston, Texas?

i doubt there is anywhere.  try running at night or early in the morning.

Try Meyer Park. It's on Cypresswood Drive in between Champions Forest and Stuebner Airline.

It's a little bit father north than you want (technically in Spring), but it's a reasonable drive from 290/Jones. Look at the map in the link I posted below.

Or from 290/Jones go north up Jones to Cypresswood, turn right (east) on Cypresswood. Drive east for a few miles on Cypresswood until you come to Meyer Park. It's on both sides of Cypresswood. Go in either side.
