  1. Quite a large area to cover!

    For all of Michigan you will need to cross reference from two websites.

    First, DNR Special Watercraft Controls by County. Look for non-motorized lakes or sections of large lakes that are "no wake" on this website.

    Next, see if the lake is has public access from this website

    http://www.mcgi.state.mi.us/MRBIS/

    That will give you a list of lakes.
