There are over 100 Michelin Star restaurants in NYC.... I dont think you will have a problem. It depends on what sort of food you want.

I had dinner at Per Se recently and it was amazing, but very expensive.

We threw a very large engagement party at Cilantro's (1712 Second Ave (between 88th and 89th Sts) and it went really really well. But I was invited to a really really nice engagement party in the vault room at Bobby Van's on Broad Street (that I can imagine was not cheap).
