  1. a number of world famous boxing gyms are in NYC, gleasons for one.  go there, if you have talent a manager will take you on.

    ny hosts a number of amateur san da and muai thai fights, as well as numerous underground illegal MMA fights, but you will have to search on your own for those.

    I guess you can just walk into a bar and challenge anyone for $50 bucks to beat you too....

    generallly you need to progress through the various "hoops" through gyms and bieng "discovered" in order to see any money from any legit source.
