  1. You can usually find Qurans at a library. Maybe you could find a Torah there too. If not, head off to a Judaica store and get one there...if you're in Jo'burg, one shouldn't be hard to find (=

  2. The torah I don't know But I got a Afrikaans Quran from a Mosk for free.I also just got it to find out what the fuss is all about,If you still have a problem getting one I can slowmail you mine,I prefer the Bible,

  3. If you are in JHB it wont be a problem to find a Quran that has been translated to English. Go to Fordsburg, there are many shops there that sell it.

Rather read the English version as opposed to reading off websites on the net. The internet has many sites where people have recorded false verses saying that it is from the Quran.

  4. I do not know if you can buy the Torah.  Is theTorah the scrolls they use in the Synagoge.

Do not know about the Quran.

Strange nobody notice you asking a question like that with a name

    like that.

  5. Was just reading some sites on the Quran - make sure you don't defile your copy:

This is in Pakistans Penal Code:

Section 295-B  -  Defiling etc., of Holy Quran; whoever willfully defiles, damages or desecrates a copy of the Holy Quran or of an extract therefrom or uses it in any derogatory manner or for any unlawful purpose shall be punishable with imprisonment for life.

Section 295-C  -  "Use of derogatory remarks in respect of the Holy Prophet, whoever by the words, either spoken or written,  or by visible representation, or by any imputation, innuendo, or insinuation, directly or indirectly, defiles the sacred name of the Holy Prophet Muhammad shall be punished with the death sentence or imprisonment for life and shall be liable to fine". The condition for imprisonment for life came to an end in 1990, and the death sentence was made mandatory for blaspheming the name of the Holy Prophet
