Where in central London can I find a pub or restaurant serving decent roast meat and vegetables?

Am meeting a friend in London who has allergies and it is easier if she has a roast dinner and can then eat only what she feels is safe. Obviously a carvery type meal would be even better. From what i recall most public houses and restaurant chains do not include roasts. Or am I wrong?
