miniature shetland pony? he is roughly 26-30inch's...

  1. Miniature Shetland ponies are not bred to be ridden.  They are solely used as pets and for showing in-hand in the show-ring.  They CANNOT be ridden!!!  The larger Standard Shetland pony is very suitable for riding and can be used for many different things, including driving, gymkhana, jumping and showing.
