  1. Acid rain is a global problem.  Scandinavia, Central Europe, Scotland,  Eastern Europe, Russia and areas down-wind from them.

    These areas all burn sulfur-containing coal to generate heat and electricity.

    The problem of acid rain not only has increased with population and industrial growth, but has become more widespread.  are all affected by acid rain

    The acids suspended in the atmosphere may be carried hundreds of miles before they fall as rain, sleet, or snow.  So, unless the world makes a joint effort to cut down emissions there will still be a problem.

    One countries emissions may fall on another country as acid rain, so we all must work together

  3. Scandinavia, especially norway as the prevailing winds transport rain clouds from the west from places such as england where alot of sulphur (which is the main contributor to acid rain) is produced to the east to scandanavia
