Where in florida do firefighters get paid the most?

Tampa, Orlando, Miami-Dade are among the highest with an average of $46-$50K. But, the cost of living in those areas are also much higher. Here in the panhandle, we don't make as much, but it's a lot cheaper to live.

I am from Florida, so I am guessing anywhere with a larger sized city.  IE Miami, Jacksonville, Tampa, and so on.  Now I happen to think Sarasota is a beautiful place.  If you want to know salaries, go to salarydotcom.  Good luck!
