  2. You can't, you'll have to go to the Central Bank in Dublin & exchange them there.  You could also see if any collectors are interested in them - notes in good condition might be worth something.

  3. I doubt that you could as Irish punts are not legal tender anymore. Ireland stopped using the punt in 2002  and now has the Euro as it's currency, and as Ireland is not part of the UK, and the UK does not use the Euro, you may have a problem trying to convert them in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland or England ....you may be able to take them to a bank in Ireland (Republic of) and get them exchanged there though.

  5. Ireland ( the Republic of ) uses Euros If you hold punts they should be returned to your bank or the Bank of Ireland . Euros can be cashed in any Post Office ( no commission ) in Scotland for sterling . You can also buy in any Post Office but if using " plastic " you need a passport or driving licence .
