I know there's a place just over the bridge. I rented there once, it's right in town just look in the local directory when you get there. Most people don't rent and I'm sure you won't have to reserve one in advance. Also make sure you check the grooming conditions, state funding for groomers has been cut and you could run into some seriously bad trails, especially at this point of the season.

The UP is michigan DUH!  Unfortunatly there are few places to rent snowmobiles because of insurance and accidents.  I am not sure exactly where but I had to answer because people not knowing what the UP is!
